Biography

Alexandra Dallaire studies fungi that interact with other organisms through symbiosis. Using experimental and computational approaches that compare different systems, her laboratory aims to understand the mechanisms that drive the evolution of symbiotic fungi. Her research focuses on the loss and expansion of gene families, mutagenic processes, and the activity of transposable elements.
